Where to stay on yourTanzania adventure

From your first night in Moshi or Arusha to a tent on Kilimanjaro, a lodge on the Ngorongoro rim or a camp in the Serengeti, here's the accommodation we arrange for every stage of your climb or safari.

How we plan your stays

Three stages, three kinds of rest

Every trip has a shape: you arrive, you head out — up the mountain or into the parks — and you come back to rest. We've built our accommodation network around that shape: a comfortable base in town, the right bed on the mountain or on safari, and somewhere to unwind before you fly home.

01 — When you arrive

Town accommodation

Climbs and safaris both start in Moshi or Arusha. We book you close to your briefing, gear check or safari pick-up, so the night before an early start is spent resting, not travelling.

Where we book in Moshi & Arusha

Budget guesthouse1–2 nights

Simple, clean rooms with hot water and breakfast, walking distance from the town centre. Good for travellers keeping costs lean.

Mid-range hotel1–2 nights

En-suite rooms, reliable Wi-Fi, a pool to unwind by, and staff used to early safari starts, trekkers’ odd hours and gear-heavy luggage.

Boutique coffee lodgeAdd a night either side

Set on a working coffee farm outside town — quieter, greener, and a good spot for a rest day before or after your adventure.

02 — On the mountain & on safari

Camps, huts & safari lodges

What you sleep in depends on your adventure. On Kilimanjaro it’s tents or mountain huts, matched to your route. On safari it’s lodges and tented camps close to the wildlife, chosen for your budget, your parks and the season.

Our safari lodges & camps

Mountain tentsMachame, Lemosho, Rongai, Umbwe

Sturdy tents pitched and struck by our crew at each camp, with sleeping mats and a mess tent for meals. Private tents are available as an upgrade.

Mountain hutsMarangu route only

A-frame dormitory huts with bunk beds and a dining hall at each camp — the only Kilimanjaro route where you don't sleep under canvas.

Safari lodgesNgorongoro, Karatu, Manyara

Comfortable lodges with pools, gardens and views — an easy base between game drives to the crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire.

Tented safari campsSerengeti

Canvas camps close to the wildlife, from classic tented camps in the central Serengeti to luxury lodges near the migration routes.

03 — After your adventure

Recovery, beach & onward stays

After a summit or a week of game drives, most travellers want a hot shower, a real bed and time to slow down — a night in town before flying out, or a few days on the beach.

Where we book on the coast

Recovery night in townAfter your climb or safari

A room waiting for you when you come back, with laundry for trail- or dust-worn kit before your flight home.

Climb + safari extension2–4 nights

Coming off the mountain? Continue straight into a safari with lodge nights near Ngorongoro, Tarangire or the Serengeti.

Zanzibar beach stopover3+ nights

A beach or Stone Town stay we arrange as a combined flight-and-stay add-on, for winding down after the climb or the safari.
