Welcome to Explore Trekking Adventure. By booking any tour, trek, or travel service with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any reservation.
All bookings must be made in writing via email or through our official website.
A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of your trip.
Bookings made within 30 days of the departure date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Refunds are provided as follows:
60 days or more before departure: 80% refund
30–59 days before departure: 50% refund
Less than 30 days: no refund
No refunds are given for unused services, no-shows, or early departures.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. It must cover high-altitude trekking (for Kilimanjaro), medical evacuation, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
Clients are responsible for purchasing insurance prior to travel.
Clients participating in treks or climbs must be in good physical condition. We strongly recommend consulting a physician before attempting Mount Kilimanjaro or any high-altitude activity.
You must disclose any pre-existing health conditions or medications.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, visa, and any required vaccinations.
Yellow fever vaccination may be required for entry into Tanzania, especially if arriving from certain countries.
Each tour or trek includes specific services which are outlined in your itinerary. In general:

Accommodation as stated in the itinerary
All park fees and permits
Professional guides and crew
Transfers as stated
Meals during the trip (except where otherwise noted)
Excluded:
International airfare
Visa fees
Tips and gratuities
Travel insurance
Personal expenses (laundry, drinks, souvenirs, etc.)
Explore Trekking Adventure is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, strikes, or any other events beyond our control.
While we take every measure to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip, travel involves inherent risks.
Explore Trekking Adventure, its employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, or delay caused by any third party or external factors.
We may take photographs or video during trips for marketing purposes.
By participating in our tours, you grant permission to use such media unless you notify us in writing before the tour begins.
Any complaints must be made immediately to your guide or trip leader so we can attempt to resolve them on the spot.
Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of your trip’s conclusion.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any legal disputes shall be settled in Tanzanian courts.
