Tour Details

Serengeti National Park is the sanctuary of the best wildebeests to be found in the world, making it a prime destination for a Sharubu Safari. Covering an area of 14,763 square kilometers, the park is located between Lake Victoria in the west, Lake Eyasi in the south, and the Great Rift Valley in the east. It boasts a magnificent collection of wildebeests and is near Masai Mara National Park in Kenya, offering an unforgettable experience for those on a Sharubu Safari.

Animal migration is a key highlight of the Serengeti, especially for visitors on a Sharubu Safari. Wildebeests, along with zebras, migrate in search of grasslands for grazing. Herds move from the northern hills to the southern plains in October and November and then journey west and north in April and June after the heavy rains. Their path is often unpredictable, as it depends on the availability of grass and water. From August to October, they typically feed along the banks of the Masai Mara River on the Kenya-Tanzania border, a spectacle that is a must-see for anyone on a **Sharubu Safari**.

The Serengeti is also home to a large number of zebras, Patterson’s eland, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, impalas, and giraffes. Additionally, it offers a rich diversity of bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts on a Sharubu Safari.
