Set within 11 acres of lush, rolling countryside, the lodge is surrounded by mature trees and vibrant gardens, creating a tranquil oasis for guests. Its strategic location places it within easy reach of renowned attractions such as the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, and Lake Eyasi, making it an ideal base for wildlife safaris and cultural excursions.

The lodge offers a variety of accommodation options to cater to different preferences and group sizes. Guests can choose from well-appointed en-suite bungalows, spacious family houses, and comfortable camping facilities. Each unit is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and relaxation, ensuring a memorable stay amidst the natural beauty of the region.

Kudu Lodge and Campsite is situated in Karatu, approximately 140 kilometers from Arusha. The lodge is easily accessible via a 3–4 hour drive on tarmac roads from Arusha through Mayukuni and Karatu. For those arriving by air, the nearby Manyara Airstrip is about a 50-minute drive away. The lodge’s central location makes it a convenient starting point for exploring the surrounding national parks and cultural sites.

Tents & Suites

Kudu Lodge and Campsite offers a range of accommodation options to suit various needs:

Serengeti Suites: Spacious bungalows featuring extra-wide beds, upholstered armchairs with footstools, a fireplace, an office corner, and an en-suite bathroom. These suites are designed for guests seeking a luxurious experience with ample space and comfort.
Ruaha Rondavels: Large bungalows with a comfortable bedroom, an office corner, a lounge with a fireplace, and a large en-suite bathroom. These units provide a cozy and intimate setting for guests.
Tembo Family Houses: Two to three-bedroom houses with larger bathrooms, a larger lounge with a fireplace, and their own private gardens. These accommodations are ideal for families or groups traveling together.
Camping Facilities: For those who prefer a more rustic experience, the lodge offers camping facilities with tents for hire. Campers can enjoy the communal amenities of the lodge, including the swimming pool and restaurant, while immersing themselves in the natural surroundings.

All accommodations are equipped with modern amenities such as mosquito nets, free Wi-Fi, in-house telephones, 24-hour electricity, tea/coffee making facilities, safe boxes, and private verandas.
